Fox Marquette was a proud sponsor of the UP 200 Dog Sled Races this year. We also donated the use of 2 vehicles for the medical staffing of the event.
Oh, what an event it was! We watched the four-legged athletes and their mushers kick some tail.
Beginning in 1990, the UP 200 has made a name for itself as one of the premier 12-dog mid-distance sled dog races and attracts teams from all over. Limited to only 40 top-notch teams, the UP 200 is an Iditarod qualifying race, and in order to participate in this race the team must have completed the Midnight Run course or a similar 60-mile course within the last 3 seasons.
Needless to say, these people and their pups are built for the North!
